Elvira Stefani

Elvira Stefani began studying piano at the age of six in the class of Madame Ludmilla Volcova in Chisinau, Moldova. She later continued her musical education at the Geneva Conservatory of Music in Switzerland, under the guidance of Professor Sergueï Milstein. In 2015, she received the Certificate of Musical Studies from the same conservatory, with honors from the jury. She then earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s degree in instrumental pedagogy from the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne (Switzerland), in the class of Pierre Goy. She went on to pursue a Master’s in Performance at the University of Montreal in the class of Jimmy Brière.

Throughout her academic journey, she had the opportunity to work with several professors such as Aliona Vardanian, Alexis Golovin, Cédric Pescia, Dominique Weber, Pierre Goy, Jean Saulnier, Justine Pelletier, and Jimmy Brière.

She has performed both as a soloist and in ensemble formations in various countries including Moldova, Romania, Switzerland, France, and Canada.

Driven by a deep passion for music and teaching, Elvira has been working as a piano teacher for twelve years with students of all ages, and has taught in several music schools in Canada. In her teaching practice, she is committed to nurturing the joy of piano playing and stimulating students’ creativity to support their artistic development.
